Modern Foreign Languages Teacher (Spanish & French)

Maternity Leave Cover

Part-Time (2 days per week) - Commencing April 2024

We are looking for a part-time MFL teacher to cover a maternity leave commencing in April 2024 for at least two full academic terms teaching Spanish and French. The successful candidate should be passionate about children’s learning and should demonstrate the following qualifications & experiences:

  • Qualified Teacher Status and evidence of continuing professional development 
  • Have proven ability to deliver high quality teaching and learning to pupils across the primary school years, taking account of the requirements and needs of all children.
  • Be able to inspire children with enthusiasm and a love of learning
  • Be flexible, well organised and innovative.
  • Have experience of or be able to lead MFL across the school.

The post is open to recently qualified or experienced teachers with exceptional teaching skills and the ability to nurture and inspire our pupils to their full potential.

The DBS check will reveal both spent and unspent convictions, cautions, reprimands and final warnings, and any other information held by local police that’s considered relevant to the role.  Any information that this “protected” under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975, 2013 and 2020 will not appear on a DBS certificate. Proof of the right to work in the UK will be required at the time of interview.
