Avalon is fortunate in having a very involved and vigorous PTA that runs a large range of social and fundraising events for the school and which serves as a forum for the discussion of a range of school issues.

The regular programme of PTA activities includes the Christmas and summer fairs, the hog roast and the termly school discos. In recent times, the association has raised funds to completely refurbish the art and design studio and currently has ambitious plans to develop a range of new playground facilities

The committee meets two or three times a term, with an AGM in March and new members are always welcome.

PTA Pre-Loved Uniform Shop

Our PTA run a Pre-Loved Uniform shop, they can be contacted via email: uniformpta@gmail.com

Donations can be made to the PTA Pre-Loved Uniform shop at the School Office.  When making a donation, please make sure that all items donated are wearable and not threadbare, and clean.

Only accept the following Avalon specific uniform:

• Blazers/Black Raincoats
• Caps/Hats/Boaters
• Brown V Neck Jumpers/Cardigans
• Brown PE Sweatshirts/Joggers
• Tunics/Summer Dresses

Gift Amnesty

The PTA are looking for any duplicate/unwanted gifts you may have received which can be used for any future raffle prizes. If you can help, please drop off any gifts to the School Office.  Thank you!
